Leaving Mimi, James, Marko and Simon was tough. We miss them so much already.
We left Mimi's at 7:45 am - got to Uncle Dan's by 8:30 am and he had coffee, sugar, mugs and milk all set out.
Eggs ready to be cooked by the stove.
And MORE steaks and sausage on the barbeque (8:30 am). He absolutely force-fed us steaks this whole visit and they are, genuinely, some of the best things you've ever had in your life. Steak and Eggs for breakfast before our 24 hour journey back to Dublin was next-to-none.
Saying goodbye to this house and the view is always tough (yes, and Uncle Dan too).
The table all set outside on a gorgeous Seattle morning.
Uncle Dan absolutely spoils us rotten - there's no other way to put it. He feeds us like royalty and takes care of us in every way. We miss him so much.
Then off to the airport and saying goodbye to Dad and Sarah. Tough but so good to have them see us off.
Love this one.
Norah the frequent flyer on our 10 hour flight - Seattle to Frankfurt, Germany.
The only block of "German-looking" architecture that I saw in the entire city (because it was bombed so badly in WWII)
The opera house and one of the many sky scrapers.
I took these jars home. :)
The opera house - just beautiful.
The European Central Bank (ECB) - ie, the financial center of...well, earth.
Love my photos of Starbucks signs in different countries (so far, Istanbul takes the cake).
The parking lot outside the ECB
