Sunday Dec. 4th 2011 Farmer's Market and Lunch with Andy

Our "Honey Nut Cheerios" which are called "Honey Cheerios" and they're made by Nestle. Notice the "8 Vits" label on the bottom.
Once we made the bed, Norah wanted us to put her under the covers. Little cutie.

Sunday Dec. 4th, 2011 - REAL Irish carrots and potatoes at the Dun Laoghaire Farmer's Market
 Yummy yummy breads and treats
The Dun Laoghaire Farmer's market  - year-round. This is a 20 minute walk from our apartment.
Wayne and Norah at "The People's Park" (Farmer's market)
View from the street outside our apartment.
Norah's 1st bath in Ireland. We only have 2 showers (no tub) so we had to buy this baby tub for Norah. So far it works fine but it's certainly small quarters.
This was interesting. On Saturday (Dec. 3rd) we went to lunch at this great restaurant in Dun Laoghaire. Wayne had fish 'n chips (honestly, the best we've ever had in our lives) and a Guiness. I had bacon wrapped chicken so you can only imagine that was great. The huge piece of fish was served on what they call "mushy peas" which was....mushy peas. (and fantastic!) Anywho, they also brought us this cup of condiments which included Ketchup, mustard, vinegar (for the fish), mayonnaise, and whatever might be "brown sauce".
Wayne's 1st guiness in Ireland. We were surpised that it did not taste much different than Guiness in the states but we hear that Guiness in a REAL Pub in Ireland may be a bit better.

And here is our new friend Andy Kohn. Andy is Julie Wight's (family friend, Seattle) brother who lives here in Dublin and he helped us find our apartment. Today we met Andy at the Dun Laoghaire farmer's market, had a lovely lunch and then had him over for coffee. He was officially our first Irish company.

I love it! Make sure you're getting in your daily vits, that's very important. Haha. Keep us updated on all the Irishisms
