Prressentss! New packages from home!

Well today we got a wonderful surprise! After a short ride on the Petri dish, err, Dublin Bus, we received our Christmas presents from Uncle Dan and cousins Megan and Larry! (from Seattle) (I kid about the bus. I only say this because Norah has taken to touching the foggy windows on the bus (gross in itself because that "fog" is steam from a bunch of germ-factories) and then..... licking her finger (which she thinks is hilarious because of the way I cringe with my entire being). Well on the bright side - maybe that germ exposure has immunized her against cholera or measles....
Anyway, back to the presents - Bless their hearts, they each sent these before Christmas and even paid the extra postage to try and get them here by the holiday but to no avail. Of course the US postal service was slow and then the Post, here, was shut down until January 4th! Unheard of in the States. Things really shut down here after Christmas.

So we got an adorable box of clothing for Norah from Megan, Larry, Catherine and Natalie and their beautiful Christmas card (which Norah spent 10 minutes trying to "stick" to the wall - with no tape of any kind. She would just hold up to the wall at her head-height and it would fall, hold it up, it would fall, hold it up, it would fall). "Wanna stick it UP! Wanna stick it UP!" (we'll get her tape)
You'll notice the Xylophone in the corner which was MUCH, MUCH needed. Thank you so much Megan!! Norah calls it her piano. She looooves it. This outfit will be her '2nd Birthday Attire'. We hope it fits her by then. It's soo cuuuuttte!
And here are a few of the things from Uncle Dan. We were like two little kids in a candy shop, opening this box. It just kept coming and coming.

Norah's outfits!
And some goodies for Mommy and Daddy

This...THIS is a leader of Men. She's destined for greatness.
