Sandycove Carnival

Walking toward Dun Laoghaire this last weekend, thinking "whhhat are those things hanging?" (they looked pink from a block away). As we got closer, we realized they were American flags and boy did they seem out of place.
Hm...who knew the Irish were so patriotic?? .....about America.

People's Park is getting FULL in the summer. Weekend Market.
And off in the distance. What's that I see?? Is this Puyallup Washington?? What the? It's a carnival! In Ireland...

 "Ok...what's the hold up?"
 In Action:

 Fair Enough.

Humans are so weird. This, apparently, is Zorbing, and if I become a billionaire, I will have one of these set-ups in my basement. Wayne said "Whhhat is the point of that?" - And my response was "what do you mean? It's the best thing I've ever seen. Makes perfect sense to me."

Ok, off to Seattle now. Over and Out. I'll try to post some pictures of my favorite Seattle moments. Now begins a 23 hour airplane, bus, layover-filled, trans-atlantic journey with a two-year-old. Prayers and well wishes, appreciated. =)
