Amsterdam Part Two

I need this in Dublin.

This was so gorgeous! It looked like something the Elven princesses would've worn in The Lord of the Rings. (that means it's beautiful)

Every store window is incredible, in all of Amsterdam.
Not sure - but very Amsterdam.
 (this is someone's apartment window)
And arriving at the Rijksmuseum (Rikes).
A PSA From Alain De Botton
The first piece of art we saw was one of the most famous paintings of all time - Vincent Van Gogh's Self-Portrait.
My favorite in all of the museum.
A close 2nd for favorite in the whole museum.
These are the "HANDHAVING" Police. "Can I give you a hand?? Do you need some help?"

Van Gogh's "Mother by a cradle"
This was stunning.
Wayne had to explain this one to me. Apparently, there is a huge steel plate below the blanket, which is connected to the pole. Then a another beam goes into his sleeve and down his side, to another platform which he sits upon. Make sense? It genuinely stumped me for a minute. I thought we were witnessing some witches in Amsterdam....
Amsterdam's finest.
